Since an very early age, Dame’s soul has been captivated by the perpetual rhythmic motion of kicks and snares from the Boom-Bap era. Inspired by the elements of the sounds, he began a long quest to self teach himself into the world of music. Following the path oh his favorite albums, beat by beat, sample by sample, to their dusty source, in the crates of an old record store. He spent countless of sleepless hours and even years, studying the physics of drum-breaking and sample lifting, to incorporate into his own style of hip hop.

Now today, Dame is still a classic Hip-Hop figure. Producer, Engineer, Entrepreneur who partly owns Hip Hop Souls Music Productions, handling both business and artistic aspects of the label. While reminiscent of the sound of Boom-Bap’s pioneers, are in Hip Hop Souls music, there is more to Dame’s production than the sum of his influences. He stands not in their shadows but atop their shoulders, making progressive Hip Hop productions for a core audience who know how Hip-Hop should sound!
