Picaso is an artist of poetry, the black Edgar Allen Poe. He is a literal expressionist of words with a rhythmic undertone which makes his style so unique. A veteran poet, Picaso has been a rhyme artist since 1993, when he first picked up a pen to express his thoughts. Strangely enough, being born in the south ( S.C. ), Picaso’s most influential artist hail from the Big Apple. Artist such as Nas, KRS ONE, Jay-Z, The Notorius B.I.G., Wu-Tang Clan and many others played an intricate roll in the development of one of Hip-Hop’s more unique artist.
Now, as a seasoned writer and detailed painter of rhythmic art, Picaso has turned the corner on a 20 plus year career and began a journey to the resurrection of lyrics and flow synonymous with the power and impact of 90’s Hip- Hop. With his ability to “paint pictures with words”, Picaso has now arrived to add another chapter to the history book of Hip-Hop.
